Eva Bernadine Boyd 91 Huntsville, Texas formerly of Oblong died Sunday November 25, 2001 at her home. Born November 21, 1910, in Oblong, Illinois. She was the daughter of Arthur G. Ruddell and Jennie Lee (Moomau) Ruddell. On July 25, 1935 she married Rex E. Boyd who died in 1975. Bernadine was a retired nurse and member of Central United Methodist Church in Oblong. She attended Oblong schools and graduated from Good Samaritan Hospital Nursing Program in Vincennes, Indiana on July 20, 1932. She was Licensed as a Registered Nurse on August 26, 1932.

Bernadine is survived by 1 son and daughter-in-law John Fred & Sharon Boyd, 2 granddaughters Tracy & Don Dean and Teresa & Michael Swain; 6 great grandchildren Rachel, Bryan and Amber Dean, Brittany, Chelsea and Tommie Danielle Swain; 2 brothers and sisters-in-laws Harold & Eileen Ruddell and Charles & Cora Ruddell; several nieces and nephews also survive. Bernadine is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers Karl & Arthur Ruddell Jr and 2 sisters Pauline & Josephine.

Burial will be in Oblong Cemetery
